About this image

A photo of two people standing in front of The Metro Centre bus in central London on World Mental Health Day in 1998. The signs say in the past we were queer, outcast, ridiculed and here and now we demand queer pride, involvement, respect, acceptance. The Metro bus had a Ship of Fools theme. This image was scanned as part of the Our History project, which archived, recorded and preserved our LGBT heritage in 2019/20.
