METRO is delighted that its Clinical Project Manager, Jackie Foley has been recognised as one of the UK's top sexual health professionals through the UK Sexual Health Awards.

This is the second year of the UK Sexual Health Awards hosted by national sexual health charities Brook and FPA and showcasing some of the best, creative and innovative work in sexual health. Jackie was one of sox finalists in the category of Sexual Health Professional at the award ceremony hosted by comedian Kate Smurthwaite, at a gala dinner last night at The Troxy in London.

Marguerite McLaughlin BEM, METRO Chief Executive said:
"I couldn't be more proud that that Jackie Foley's commitment and hardwork has been rewarded and that METRO's sexual health work is being recognised in this way. Jackie is a committed, innovative and dynamic health professional who leads on a very wide range of sexual health projects in Greenwich for METRO. She is a hugely inspiring and innovative leader who keeps service users at the epicentre of everything she does. Her compassion and understanding of the challenges people from a number of different communities face is second to none and has led to a number of highly successful initiatives including METRO's African Testing Outreach & Mentoring Project (ATOM) in Woolwich offering rapid HIV testing and access to a range of services. Well done Jackie!"
