Mayor's Green Fund grant for METRO Orchards
Our Food Equalities Programme has received a £15,000 Community Green Space Grant from Mayor’s Greener City Fund for the development of our allotments in Eltham.

"As a keen gardener this project is close to my heart! We are very grateful to the Royal Borough of Greenwich for the use of these allotments and to the volunteers who have already helped clear much of the rubbish from the first section of our site.
"This amazing support from the Mayor and the Greener City Fund means that we can take the project to the next level - clearing and planting to growing food, creating a wildlife area, and constructing new learning spaces for the local community.
