METRO Walnut Celebrates 5 years!
To celebrate Walnut reaching the grand age of five, we wanted to share what the group really means to those who take part:
"Simon. I just want to say a big thank you for managing the group. My successful surgery and the decisions I made for my treatment was very much due in a large part because of the feedback I received from the other group members. Although scary and in some ways brutal, the honesty and openness shown to me by the members made me look deeply into everything to do with my treatment and to search and research what I needed for the possibility of a successful outcome. It also gave me a realistic view on what I could expect and I went into my treatment with my eyes wide open. I feel privileged to be part of the group and very eager to continue to help others who attend as much as I possibly can.
