Bexley LGBTQ+ Counselling Poster Landscape.png

A new one-to-one counselling service funded by the National Lottery Community Fund (distributed by Bexley Voluntary Service Council) is now available for LGBTQ+ identifying residents within the borough of Bexley that are over the age of 18.

Our Kevin Franke, Bexley LQBTQ+ Counselling Lead, said:

"We are all living through very challenging times, and there is evidence to suggest that our community is even more adversely affected by the pandemic. It can be extremely powerful to talk through things in the non-judgemental, safe and containing environment provided by counselling sessions. It can be a space in which it’s possible to begin to reflect on and process issues which are difficult to address in other spaces. I’m really glad that we’re able to reach out to the local LGBTQ+ community in this hopefully meaningful way."
