Concern around Metropolitan Police

We are deeply disturbed by the news story about Metropolitan Police officer David Carrick, who has pled guilty to 49 charges of sexual abuse against 12 victims. This, combined with the review of over 1,500 cases involving over 1,000 Met officers and staff is a deeply serious cause for concern in the credibility of the Metropolitan Police.

We call on Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to ensure that these reviews are carried out with utmost scrutiny, urgency and transparency.
